Saturday, June 23, 2007 Mummy is not working today and I am finally able to go with her for the postponed spa session today. The massage was so relaxing and I could feel how stressed I had been for the past weeks. Even my masseuse commented on how stiff my neck and shoulders were. I certainly felt more rejuvenated after the hour long massage followed by body scrub and ending with jacuzzi. Mummy truly enjoyed this experience and felt her limbs were more relaxed now. After spa, I brought Mummy to Courtyard @ Rendezvous Hotel for dinner. It was BBQ buffet dinner with quite a variety. The main draw was the barbecued prawns, cray fishes and crabs. The sambal belachan there was so good that we dipped almost all our food in it. There was this cute chef barbecueing the food and was chatting me up. He basically asked if I was local since I am so fair. I told him I do seasports and inline skate, which he found unbelievable. And guess what? Mr Cute-Chef invited me to go scuba diving with him. He even recommended me a supposedly good diving school. I just thanked him politely and told him I would check out the diving school and probably see him there. I quickly scurried to my table after that. Rendezvous' Courtyard is pretty cosy and I kinda like it. Had wanted to go for a drink at the Palong Lobby Bar there but Mummy was tired. ![]() Very cosy! ![]() Palong Lobby Bar @ Rendezvous Hotel. This bar looks like a nice chill-out place. Will check it out soon! Because we were so full from the dinner, we walked to Plaza Singapura to shop a while before calling for a cab. I got myself a pair of brown capri pants from G2000 at a steal. Usual price was $43 and going at $19 now. DBS cardholder has additional 15% discount and that makes my capri pants to be $16.15. It was so cheap that I was tempted to get more than a pair but Mummy was waiting for me to make payment and err, glaring at me. So I decided to just purchase one pair! Hmm, I am such a good girl ya. And of course a very happy girl now after a relaxing massage, a sumptuous dinner and a good bargain from shopping. What more can I ask for? :) |
