Thursday, June 29, 2006 This is a rather belated entry but thought I will just write about it. Attended a JC classmate, Xuanzhi's wedding last Wednesday on 21 June 2006. It was held at Furama Riverfront Singapore (formerly known as Novotel Apollo Singapore) along Havelock Road. Am really happy for this primary Chinese teacher who found her beau while being the teacher-in-charge of volleyball. Her hubby, Verson was the volleyball coach! It was really interesting and they make a great couple! Xuanzhi looked really gorgeous that night and so blissful. Her face was a little red from being forced to drink a little too much by friends and relatives though. Haha! The food was was not too bad and there were so many tables. More than 40 I think, and I wonder how can there be so many friends and relatives to invite? Perhaps I am just not as sociable as Xuanzhi or Verson! *shrugs* And I am so glad that I manage to meet up with some of my JC classmates, especially Jaspreet, Maureen, Maggie and Carolyn whom I have not met for ages. I still catch up with Phyllis and Florence regularly though. Since the last time all of us met, most of us have switched jobs and seemed to have found greener pasture. Maureen was mentioning that she might just have an opportunity to be based directly in Japan which sounded pretty exciting! Well, we chatted a bit, took some photos and tried to find out information about the classmates in class. It was quite a relaxing night and I must say I really enjoy myself. From Left: |
