Wednesday, September 26, 2007 Received a pleasant surprise 2 days ago. From Auckland. Leon sms-ed, that he is heading back to Singapore from 18th - 29th December 2007! WooohoooO! This probably means lotsa, and I mean LOTSA PARTYING! Earlier this year, I was planning to visit him in Auckland but realised that the air ticket there is so freaking expensive and just visiting Auckland alone is not so practical. Moreover, even if I head to Auckland, I will be alone and Leon will be working. So, I shelved the idea. Been a few years since we met. He was studying in Perth then continued his studies in Auckland and finally working there now. In any case, can't wait to meet up with him. We got to know each other since Zouk/Nox days and now that he is coming back for Christmas, think we gonna paint the town red once more. Haha. Well, well, this is one news that is cheering me up since 2 days ago. Am really looking forward to an old friend's return! :) Labels: Friends Increasingly busy. Just did up an action plan to be submitted tomorrow. Lotsa planning to be done and it's production closing tomorrow. I have to relax. I want to loosen up. I need a break. I know Boss is as anxious and busy, if not more. But hey, I don't draw the kind of salary my boss does. So please, no more additional task, at least till I can rush out what I have at hand first. GIMME A BREAK! Labels: Work Monday, September 24, 2007 It was so hectic in office today. Attending meetings and tending to emails. Got a shocking news when I checked my email today. Apparently, our regional boss has been replaced. Now, my boss's gonna be busy. This means, I will be SUPER DUPER BUSY! The weekend was good though with Desmond's wedding on Saturday and Tango on Sunday. Will blog about Desmond's wedding with photos another day when I am not so tired. Felt very drained, especially after the conference call earlier with the Regional and New York folks. Had to drop Boss an email before I finally shut down my laptop and headed home. Dinner was simple with soup and vegetables. I am fat now. Think I should cut down on my food intake. Snacks too. Ate a packet of Porky at 4pm today. Was hungry as I ate fruits and Avocado Juice for lunch today. Doctor had mentioned I should avoid the sun and swimming for a while till my sores disappeared. This means, no swimming or inline-skating for me, at least for now. I do hope I won't be so tired next few days to do some crunches. Next few days gonna be as busy, if not more busy. Am dreading it. Actually, am leaving for Taipei next Sunday but now, as usual before any trip, I am NOT looking forward to it as Boss starts giving me multiple tasks to complete before leaving. Argh. Labels: Work Wednesday, September 19, 2007 Upon realising that one of my fingernails cracked last evening, I was all frantic and calling Flaunt and Nail Palace. Finally did my manicure and pedicure today at Flaunt, pushed my appointment on Friday to today. Hmm, chose a metallic turquose shade for my nail color. To match my blue cheong sam! Labels: Work Saturday, 15 September 2007 Wanna get a pair of white heels to match my cheongsam to be worn on my brother's wedding next Saturday, but ended up buying 3 pairs of heels instead! That's the problem with girls. When we start combing shoes boutiques, we end up buying lotsa shoes or heels. Yes, unfocused, as men put it, but well, who cares, especially when those heels are sooooooooo LOVELY!  Match my cheongsam nicely!  I love the color!  Got this pair for work cos of comfort! Wooohooo! It has been a SHOE-Y Saturday! Labels: Myself Sunday, 9 September 2007 Woke up at 12pm before rushing off to meet Francis and Roy for lunch at the newly-opened Suki Sushi at KBox Plaza.  Just dyed my hair this dark red shade on Saturday!  Absolutely adore this nail polish colour. 
 You will enjoy this movie if you like action-packed films. Surprised at the twist. Pretty good plot. Way much better than Rush Hour 3. Monday, September 10, 2007 Friday, 7 September 2007 Had a Girls Night Out with some girlfriends on Friday. Went for a light meal at Shooters before heading to The Arena, Singapore's No.1 International Live Music Venue. This club rocks. And I totally mean it. I thought it would be a little boring at first as the bands were really good but no one was grooving to the music. However, it was different after midnight when everyone started to relax and move to the music. 
Thursday, 6 September 2007 Today was packed with meetings in the morning and a training session in the afternoon. Boring. Tiring. *YAWNZ* As I was too lazy to mix and match my clothes, donning on a black skirt suit seemed most beckoning this morning. And so, out I went today... Tuesday, September 04, 2007 Was on leave yesterday and back to work today. Still getting used to my Hmm, after having curls for one and a half year, it does feel a little weird now that the hair is back to its natural state.  Think I will perm again next year!

Sunday, 2 September 2007 Went to Sengkang for Ashley's Housewarming and she also planned it to be Junye's birthday celebration. Aww... she is such a sweet wifey!  He is a soccer fan and so Ashey got him this.  With a smile while distributing the cakes to her guests.   Loving couple eh! With my curls, at least most of them, cropped, my hair is kinda straight now. Because I was waiting for Tom for a good half an hour, was late in meeting Zijun for coffee at Bugis.  Looked kinda different huh?
 Not too tidy though as I did not do full manicure! *BLEAH*
