Had our annual Family Day yesterday at Hort Park. Thank God it was raining in the morning so was not as hot when we were there from 3pm to 6pm. Rushed back home to shower and change before going for Subaru 7th Month Dinner. Food was not bad.
Attended Melvin's (Roy's good friend) daughter 1-month old celebration at late noon today. Reached there about 3pm and left about 6pm. Had a quick dinner at the S11 downstairs before rushing back to catch Singapore vs China at the 730pm table tennis Olympics finals.
Expectedly, we lost. But well, though it is a silver, it is Singapore's Olympics medal after 48 years. The last was a bronze at Rome for some weight-lifting event and the winner is 75 year-old this year. In any case, congrats to Singapore, for the silver!
My throat has been itching for a week and seems to be worse now. Hope that I will feel better tomorrow!
