I was sick and grouchy today and my darling got to bear with my temperamental mood swing. Argh. Anyway, headed to Chinatown for lunch and then to purchase the said Bellydance Hip Scarf in Ruby Red. Lovely.

We went Bugis' sistic outlet to purchase tickets for Beauty World musical. Decided to catch it on 5 January 2008.

Am really glad that Roy is accompanying me for the musical and hmm, this is his virgin musical. Sure hope he likes it and we can go for more in future.

Shopped around Bugis and got myself a long necklace to accessorise the plain dresses or tops I have. Had dinner at V8 Cafe before heading to Centrepoint's Robinsons to try on this white tube dress. Really love it and decided to get it but unfortunately, they do not have a new piece in my size. The promoter called the main boutique and Bugis and will be transferring the dress over. It's a new piece.

Sure hope to hear from the promoter next week, else I will just head to the boutique at Bugis and get it myself next weekend. Most important now is to watch my weight so that I can still fit nicely into the dress for D&D. Roy has been really sweet and telling me to be patient. Am eating normally but still fat. Sigh.

Was down with flu since Friday but braved it all to meet Ashley and the rest of the girls at Paisley & Cream Cafe @ The Central, the shopping centre above Clarke Quay Mrt Station.

Brainstormed on gatecrash ideas for Ashley's wedding. Was really fun.

My mobile phone kept ringing. The sms-es kept coming in. He has been downstairs since 12.15am. Geesh. I am scared. I don't want to meet him. For the past month, he had been contacting me and telling me how much he missed me, why he hadn't been contacting me etc.

Whatever it is, it really doesn't matter anymore. I have Roy now, and I am a happy girl, that's what matters. I already told him I do not want to meet him, at least not tonight. We can do dinner sometime soon. I still regard him as a friend, but no way am I meeting him now!

He says that he is not expecting anything from me but just wanna see me. This totally freaks me out. If you wanna see me, can see me other day right? And not past midnight like now right? Moreover, he was just talking to me about 2 hours ago, telling me that he would always cruise past to my place about 2am for no rhyme or reason. I shuddered when he mentioned that.

I think he will leave soon, since I have been ignoring the phone calls and sms-es. Hopefully he will think I am asleep. ARGH.

Am just chatting with Anthony on MSN now and all he cares about asking is, what car does KT drive. Crazy Anthony. When I mentioned that KT drives a Lexus IS250 and had sold his Mercedes-Benz CLK280, Anthony just commented that KT must be some rich man son. Sigh. I don't care if he is rich or what. Just please, leave me alone!

Started my first session for both Pilates and Belly Cabaret today, at 7.30pm and 8.30pm respectively. Lotsa to rave about now.

Pilates
Pilates exercises one's resistance. A bit like Body Pump but not as intense. This also means the muscle toning process for girls will be better. Will look defined and toned, yet not bulky.

This may seem easy but is far from that. Differs from Yoga. Pilates concentrates on conditioning whereas Yoga concentrates on flexibility.

The deep breathing from Yoga makes me feel more serene/zen. However, Pilates really works on one's abs and triceps. Aww, I can already feel my arms aching.

Belly Cabaret
This is basically belly dancing and really fun. Belly dancing is one dance which I have always wanted to pick up, since last year. Finally, I have time for it.

Because Belly Cabaret is an on-going class, the other students already had their Belly Dance Hip Scarf and the golden coins slithering along their sashes were jingling away.

May, the instructress, taught a routine and mentioned that every week would differ slightly. Although it was my first time, it was not so difficult. A lot of hip movements and I am pretty sure this Belly Cabaret will tone up one's tummy!

Thoroughly enjoy myself today and also looking forward to tomorrow's Yoga class. I am a happy girl! Unfortunately, I have to attend a corporate event next Wednesday and gonna miss my Pilates and Belly Cabaret. It also doesn't help that I will miss the 5th December lessons too as it is my company's Dinner & Dance.

Oh well. Must really practise on my own to try to catch up! And I gonna be getting my own Belly Dance Hip Scarf next week!

Finally caught up on my sleep and woke up at 12 noon. Went Surf 'N' Turf (Suntec City) for late lunch about 3pm before catching Saw IV at 5.15pm.

Lunch Review
Food serving at Surf 'N' Turf is big. For every main course ordered, top up $4.90 for a soup and a soft drink. I chose Clam Chowder Soup and it was not bad but the portion was huge. And when my steak came, it was humongous! I struggled to finish it, together with the fries. Roy helped too. Nonetheless, the beef is good. Better than Hog's Breath or Outback Steak. For $26.90, it's definitely worth a try. Sorry, no picture as I left my digicam at home.

Roy had Baked Seafood Casserole and my dear boy, being quite a big-eater, could only finish slightly more than half of it. Surf 'N' Turf was pretty generous with the seafood but the soggy rice beneath the cheese was not so delectable after a few mouthfuls. Roy was just concentrating on finishing the seafood.

Because we were both so full after the soup, main course and drink, we could not stomach any dessert. We would love to go back to try to steak again and this time round, the dessert.

My recommendation will be to order the main course without topping upo the $4.90 for soup and drink, if you are very hungry. Alternatively, just order one main course with soup and drink to share.

Movie Review
I did not catch Saw, Saw II and Saw III so not much comment about Saw IV except that it was utterly gruesome. I was nudging Roy to leave the theatre during the first five minutes of the movie screening. Eeeks.

Anyway, headed for Pan Pacific Hotel for Joel's wedding dinner, which started at 9pm. We were only at the third dish by 10pm. It was only after 10.10pm then the dishes were all rushed in. Am really happy for Joel. He was really beaming the whole night.


Sunday
Had wanted to sleep in longer but was woken up by Roy at 10am, who just passed me the Sunday Times to see what activities we can do today. There happened to be some review on Wanton Mee and I was just craving for it. After reading the papers, we both decided to check out the recommended Hong Fa Xing Cooked Food at Block 209, Hougang Street 21, #01-08.

Upon reaching there, we found out that it is actually a hawker centre beside Kovan Plaza. There are lotsa stalls and all the food looked yummy. We finally located Hong Fa Xing and there was no queue. We were hesitant in trying but still did. Hmm, the noodles and wanton are nice. Worth a try.

After that, we walked around Kovan Plaza before going to Ang Mo Kio Hub to watch Doraemon. Good plot and nice anime. I am no kid but I love this movie! :)




After movie, as agreed earlier, we went back to my house to prepare and then went swimming at 5pm. I swam 20 laps. Fruitful ya? Well, unfortunately, I have a sumptuous dinner too. Had Chilli Crabs! Yummy! Do not even dare to weigh now. Haha. Err, will start watching my weight tomorrow! :)

Was supposed to join Ashley at Zouk for her Hen's Night but because I was held up for dinner, only managed to reach Zouk about 10.40pm. The queue was crazy and I was waiting in the un-moving line for 45 minutes before I sms-ed Ashley to surrender. The queue was not moving and I doubt I could even get in by mid night.

I finally left for St James reluctantly at 11.40pm. Would have loved to party with Ashley though. Sigh. :(

Anyway, joined Charmaine and her friends at Gallery Bar for some drinks before going to Dragonfly to meet Annie, who was celebrating her birthday there. We danced and drank a lot. An old friend of mine, Peter, joined us. I had not seen him for 2 years and he suddenly called me and said he feel like dancing, hence thought of me. What a weird comment.

Nonetheless, Peter joined us and opened another bottle. Geesh, been a while since I drank so much but thank god I did not knock out. Was telling Pauline (Annie's friend) to send me back in case I knocked out since she stays very near me.

Time flies. Been a long time since I blog. Yes, I know I promise to blog more but have been really lazy. Yes, lazy, not busy. Haha.

The weekend was good, spending time with my boy. Was just telling Phyllis on MSN that I am indeed in a very happy relationship. Whenever we go out, I will laugh non-stop. Am truly enjoying every moment together with him.

Perhaps to other girls, it is normal to be spending lotsa time with their boyfriends, but to me, it is something I have always yearned for in a man. I am no leech to guys but the men I used to date, never had more than once a week for me. In fact, from what I can recall, spending once a week with me was like a great sacrifice for them. And because all of them were such, for a long time in my life, I had really thought that for a boyfriend to spend once a week with a girlfriend, was a true luxury. Oh well, no wonder they are ex-boyfriends now. *SHRUG*

Hmm, today, being with Roy has taught me otherwise. In fact, my dear boy has spoilt me, by spending quality time with me and showering me with his endless love, care and concern. Never once have I felt so blissed. Thanks darling! MUACKS!

On a separate note, am still tryng to shed some pounds so that I look not-so-fat for Ashley's wedding in December. It's not so easy, especially with the lunches and dinners recently. One consolation is, I have started Yoga. Very relaxing. I like it. Helps to regulate the breathing too.

Was supposed to start Pilates and Bellydance this Wednesday but postponed to next week so that I can party since this is supposedly Ashley's hen night. Hmm, I don't call an all-girls night out partying to be a hen's night. Think got to rack my brains for something more exciting for dear Ashley. With a pretty kinky constume too! Shall discuss with the girls on Wednesday. *SMILE*

It's late now. Gonna hit the sack. Regional Boss sitting in our department meeting tomorrow so better make sure I do all my work right tomorrow. Good night!
