I woke up with a bad throat and an aching body this morning. When I coughed, the phlegm spat out was laden with blood. My head felt heavy too. I lazed in bed a while more before heading to the clinic.
Throughout the walk to the clinic till I went to grab a bite at the nearby coffeeshop and then back home, my mobile phone was constantly ringing. Even though my throat was in pain, I had to keep settling work matters via phone calls. When I got home and had my medicine, I was so sleepy but still got to attend to incoming emails or phone calls from work.
It is about 7pm now and I can finally rest. My phone has finally stopped ringing and I just settled an incoming email. Boss mentioned before never to get Blackberry else you will be working really hard from home. Well, I think you need no Blackberry to be working from home. Now I kinda regret getting Remote Email Access such that I got to be working so hard even when sick at home. I know I should be resting but everytime I was about to fall asleep, the handphone will ring and I got to scurry out of bed and repy to some emails.
I am still sick. Grouchy and tired. I need my DUE REST!
