It's past 1am now and while I still have my mask on, decide to start blogging. And opps, it's been so long since I blogged! Haha. Well, have been busy.

Thinking back, 2007 has not been so bad afterall. Other than being not-so-healthy this year, the rest was okey actually. Well, for the past year, I kept having cough, flu or sore throat. Must really take care of my health.

Work wise, I got promoted in July. Even though the salary increment was pathetic, I applaud at this opportunity for more responsbilities and doing more strategic planning. Relationships with both colleagues and working counterparts continue to bloom. They make this job so much more bearable enjoyable.

Family wise, am getting along well with Mummy, Desmond and her newly-wed wife. Actually, Desmond and Jasmine only come back about once or twice a week. I do hope Desmond and/or Jasmine can try to spend more time with Mummy. I am already trying to accompany Mummy at least twice a week.

Love wise, after dating different guys for a few months, finally got attached to dear Roy. Hmm, he is really different from the usual guys who date me. For a start, at least he is no busy businessman or banker. He tries to spend time with me whenever he is free. And as of now, he has been really sweet and understanding. Let's see if this continues. *SMILE*

Friendship wise, well, don't know many new friends. As for the old, at least manage to find out who are those who will stick with you through thick and thin, and who are those who are just superficial friends. Also learn to mind my own business and not to comment or give opinions with regards to friends' problems.

That pretty sums up 2007.

Now, here are my ten resolutions for 2008:

Just watched the VivoCity countdown on TV while snuggling up to Roy on bed. Felt warm and fuzzy inside. As Gurmit Singh and Michelle Chia counted down to 2008 with the rest of the celebrities on TV earlier, I rolled my body over and gazed down at him, wishing him a Happy New Year. I heaved a sigh, rejoicing at how fortunate I am to be cuddling him comfortably while counting down to 2008. Am really glad to be away from the crowd and sweaty environment too.

I vaguely remembered, that I was home at this time last year, counting down alone. I had gone home after attending Lifang's wedding dinner and was actually happy to be single and at home alone. Of course, it is different this year. And yes, I do like this tinge of bliss which I am currently basking in. *SMILE*

Right, and so, it's that time of the year again... for New Year resolutions! Before that, a quick check back to my 2007 resolutions and as per the yearly regime, will proceed to strike out what I have managed to achieve/accomplish/complete.

Woah. Manage to strike off 60%. Hmm, not that bad afterall. Let's see...

I did not just pick up Ballroom Dance, but Latin too. For Ballroom, did Waltzand Tango. As for Latin, I did Samba and Cha Cha. Picked up Bellydance too.

Got myself a wonderful boyfriend who is definitely NOT a workaholic/self centered.

Brought in more production for the accounts I am handling but well, the losses were inevitable as the whole industry was performing badly.

Managed to build better relationships with colleagues and working counterparts. Maintaining too.

Spending time with Mummy definitely more than once a week.

Did not manage to pick up golf but did start Inline Skating and hey, it was hell lot of FUN.

Unfortunately, my top 2 most priorities were not accomplished; to save at least 10% of monthly paycheck and to shed at least 3kg. I will continue to try harder.

Meanwhile, let me go to bed now and think of my 2008 resolutions. To update later ya! CHEERS!
