Work was really busy today and it did not help that I could not reach one of my colleagues to get the information I wanted for consolidation. Was also trying to work out this month's production target as my direct superior was not around. She is serving her resignation notice now and I think very much in switch-off mode already.
Was feeling a little down today and did not want to stay late. Left office with lotsa outstanding work untouched to meet a friend in town so that she can pass me something. Feeling a little moody after meeting her, I ended up shopping at DFS and got myself a new Coach Signature Beaded Mini Skinny purse, within 15 minutes.

Shopping makes me happy, as I am able to know what I am buying and I like what I am buying. There are lotsa things in life which are not so straightforward. Sometimes, we may like something but can't have it. Similarly, there are things that we may not like but they just keep coming our way. It is so lack of control.
Many tell me that I should control my spending habit but honestly, to me, I think retail therapy is one of the few things that is within humane control. I like, I can afford, I buy. It is so simple. I don't like complexity. I am just a simple girl, in this complicated world. Simplicity appeals to me. A lot. Always.
I did not hang around further and headed home after DFS, for dinner. Soon after dinner, I was at it again. Yes, shopping. Online. Victoria's Secret webby looks more inviting today than any other day. Shopping is so sweet today, but not as sweet as these 3 tops I just ordered...
