It is a bluey Monday today. Woke up several times in the middle of the night and ran for the loo. Was having diarrhoea. Really wanted to go to work today but kept running for the loo. ARGH! Anyway, went to the doctor and got some medication. Hopefully this whole diarrhoea episode will stop else my legs will surely be wobbly from the running.
Though it's not a good Monday, I had a nice weekend. Went for Wine Tasting at BLooiE's Roadhouse Bar & Grill located at Science Park II on Saturday. We got to sample wines from France, Italy, Germany, Spain and Australia.
I particularly like the red Shiraz Vale. Medium and smooth. Dessert wine Riesling was nice as usual. The sparkling Rosè was especially refreshing and not too dry. Ther than the free flow of wine, there was also finger food such as the cripsy Nachos, barbecued Drumlets, Salad, Samosa etc. All in all, it was a pleasant evening and I really enjoyed myself.
Sunday was not too bad either as I went to collect all the photographs from my graduation. Yes, I know it was ages ago since I took the pictures but the photos need to be framed and I had no time to go collect till yesterday. Anyway, finally got the pictures with frames before heading to catch The Lake House.
Great movie, just like a romantic fantasy comes true. And hell yes, I am a sucker for such romance movies though most guys will find it a little too slow-paced. Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves make a great on screen couple, eluding much love and passion. Did I mention that I totally adore Keanu Reeves?
Anyway, Francis was just saying that I should not dwell too much on the time-travel details and just enjoy the movie. Well, I did but after the movie ended, I was still trying to analyse and piece the puzzle together. Reason being that after the movie, I heard a few folks muttering that they did not understand especially on the time difference part at the end of the movie. Well, I do understand but I ain't gonna reveal anything here in case any of my friends who are reading this want to catch it. Overall, the movie is indeed heart wrenching and it is money well spent. Alex Wyler (starring Keanu) and Kate Forster (starring Sandra) ooze such amazing chemistry.
Alright, now I gonna go back to my fairy tale dream....
