My dear proposed to me today... while I was at home, preparing to go out. I was surprised, as I thought that even if he were to propose, he would do it on 31st July cos he asked me to take leave that day to go for couple spa.

I was just blow-drying my hair when he reached my house. Suddenly he just hugged me from behind. At that moment, I was really wondering why he seemed so affectionate today. He then turned me to face him and started his lines.

"Dear, I love you!" He hugged me really tight.

I laughed and rested my head on his shoulders while he continued to hold me.

"Actually, I think for very long, on how to say this, but I think the simplest will be the best. Moreover, I don't want you to wait anymore for this."

He suddenly kneeled down on one leg. "Dear, if my diamond ring is less than 0.5 carat, will you still marry me?"

I laughed and replied, "Of course not. I already said must be minimun 0.5 carat!"

Simultaneously, he took out a small box, opened it and presented the proposal ring.

"I know you like the most transparent colour so I changed the diamond to D-E color. I promise, when we get married next year, I will upgrade your ring..."

And of course, the answer is YES, darling. How can I bear to say no to the sweetest guy I ever know?

In fact, I did think about this question for a while and really, he is someone I wanna spend the rest of my life with. Even if it means to remain as a 0.37 carat diamond ring with no upgrade, yes, darling, I will still marry you.
