It's public holiday today. Labour Day. Was slacking at home till late noon before going to Toa Payoh to trade in my Nokia 6280. Starting using my new Nokia 6300 today and loving it. Same functions as my previous phone but slimmer and looks more sleek. Yummy!
Had wanted to catch a movie last night but decided to cancel the movie date as I was stuck in office till about 9pm. There is some internal re-structuring going on and I believe I will be very busy really soon. I like new challenges though, so kinda looking forward to it. :)
Oh yah, back today, after trading in my handphone for a decent $200, I headed to Wheelock Place's Fish & Co. for dinner with Leonard, Shuzhuang, Alan and his girlfriend. Too bad Yanling can't join us. Been nearly 2 years since I met them. Had a nice chat and fun catching up.
Proceeded to Ngee Ann City's Coffee Club for desserts after that and I shared the delicious Lycee Pana Cota with Shuzhuang. Had Iced Passion Tea too. Felt so relaxed catching up with them. Leonard is heading for UK this Sunday and I guess our next meeting will be without him. Shuzhuang finally graduates and hopefully when she starts work, we can meet up often for drinks.
We were just thinking back on how long we knew each other and the little episodes we had together. Since JC days till now, time has really flown. We all got to know each other online and are all good friends now. Life is amazing and we don't really or totally do not IRC anymore. Haha! Such is life and it is indeed great that we manage to keep the friendship going!
