Sunday, February 11, 2007 Just got back from the hair salon. Did scalp and hair treatment. My head feels so light now. Am so glad that I permed my hair before the Bangkok trip and dyed it copper-red last week. Now, I have healthy, wavy auburn hair! It's Chinese New Year next Sunday, on the 18th. Needless to say, I already have more than enough clothes (especially after Bangkok trip), so not exactly fretting myself over last minute shopping. Instead, I have been busy trying to fix up appointments on self-maintenance. I have fixed my facial appointment 2 months in advance so do not have a problem. However, am very late in fixing my Manicure+Pedicure appointment and also Dental appointment this time round. After numerous phone calls this week, finally manage to slot myself this coming week for the necessary appointments, albeit higher surcharges due to the CNY peak season.
Looks like a very packed week ahead but I am sure it is all worth it. Gonna look well-groomed for Chinese New Year! Wait a minute, I should say better-groomed since I have always been well-groomed. Haha! It's Valentine's Day on Wednesday and love is hanging in the air. Oh well, at least others' love, not mine ya. Was at Cuba Libre at Clarke Quay last night and absolutely love that place, for its live band and hmm, gorgeous servers! We all agreed in unison that the dudes there are all hired for their looks. They are all real eye-candies and the crowd was good too. Cosmopolitan and well-mixed. Since I gonna be dateless on V-Day, I may consider heading down to Cuba Libre with Charmaine. Both of us were saying that we should have a date on V-Day and perhaps I should just bring her down to Cuba Libre! Will ask her tomorrow. Meanwhile, preparing myself for Monday Blues tomorrow. Now just waiting for my friend to pick me up for movie and dinner. Bored. Bored. Bored.
