I woke up grudgingly at 8am, yearning to get a few more winks but Willy was already waiting for me at 8.30am. I only got ready at 9am and we headed for Johor Bahru. Surprisingly, there was a jam and by the time we got inside, we were famished and immediately had a late breakfast.
We then proceeded for Kota Tinggi Waterfalls. I have seen numerous lovely waterfalls but never got to soak or play in them. This time round I did, for the first time. And the feeling was so good! The water is chilling yet really awakes me. The gushing currents thrill me so much. I feel like I am in a cold jacuzzi bath. The crystal clear water feels so good as it drips and splashes on me. Though Kota Tinggi Waterfall is not a big waterfall, this first time experience left me craving for more such nature-like sensation.
Finally at Kota Tinggi Waterfalls!
Where I soaked myself amidst the gushing water!
Water splashing & beating on me~
After Kota Tinggi Waterfall, we headed for Desaru and was at the beach to enjoy the sea breeze there. Shortly after, we continued to drive up to Pengarang for seafood. I can't remember the exact name of the restaurant. Think it is Jade Harvest Seafood Restaurant. Anyway, it was the champion for some Channel U food-hunting competition. I always go to Masai to have lobsters but Pengarang is a new change. And well, indeed worthwhile change. The lobster tasted to yummy. Steamed with gravy. Absolutely delicious!
I ain't lying ya? Yummy LOBSTERS!
Lobster flesh. Up close... .. and DROOLING!
We ordered Gong Gong too~
Taking a picture together after a fulfilling meal.
Restaurant auntie gave me this dried lobster shell. Still very much in tact. Look real right?
After our sumptuous meal, poor Willy drove back to Singapore. Throughout the 3 hour journey back, I slept while poor him got to concentrate on getting us back across the causeway. Haha! Anyway, we got back to Singapore about 10pm. And I was so exhausted.
Oh, by the way, I received Lilies on my birthday. From Willy. So pretty!
Oh yes, I am a typical gal. A typical gal who goes ga-ga over flowers!
Aren't they simply gorgeous? The scent is so sweet too!
Well, had a really long and tiring day and think I conked out about 11pm and only regained conscious at 10am the next day.
Post-Birthday Jane... looking so blur! Actually just got out of bed!
